You may have seen references to a certain "expert league" without being fully aware of what it entails. In a nutshell, it is the world's premier fantasy football league, pitting well-qualified challengers against the guru himself. Participation is by invitation only. League contestants must gain entry by completing a certain task, usually involving some sort of contest. In the past, challenges have included a March Madness Bracket Pool, a Trivia Challenge, and College Bowl Pick 'Em.
Participation in these contests is open to everyone. Should you emerge victorious, you will receive a highly-coveted invitation to play in the expert league. Be sure to check back often to see when the next challenge becomes available. Details can be found on the Home Page or here in the page devoted to the Expert League.
It's March and you know what that means. The guru's 2011 March Madness Bracket Pool is here. As always, the winner is invited to play in the expert league alongside the best fantasy managers in the world. Plus, for the first time ever, the champion will receive a Dick's gift card. The contest is completely free to enter. Click the above link for details.
The 2010 fantasy football season has come to a close. This year was as wacky as any other, forcing managers to stay on their toes. Those who were able to adjust to the new landscape had success. After losing starting QB Tony Romo to a season-ending injury, the guru made the decision to roll with waiver-wire pickup Michael Vick. The gamble paid off, and the guru went on to win the 2010 expert league.
Results from the 2010 College Bowl Pick 'Em Challenge are in. The winner is Dobby! Dobby is a first-time qualifier to expert league, one whom the guru looks forward to competing against. Congratulations!
